Annaliese Klein, B.S., M.A.O.M., L.M.T, A.P., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), is the owner of Silver Wave Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Massage Therapy in Bonita Springs, Florida.  Annaliese graduated from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, North Carolina, earning an M.S. in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  While attending this four year program of study in classical acupuncture and herbal medicine, she was awarded the Jade Dragon Scholarship given by Nu Herbs Company in recognition of academic excellence.  Annaliese completed a two year clinical internship with special interest in geriatric and end of life care.

In 2008, Annaliese graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a cumulative G.P.A. of 4.0 and a B.S. degree in Biology and Chemistry.  During her undergraduate education she received a student research grant for investigating genes responsible for flowering in Melaleuca quinquenervia, a Florida invasive species.  She was recognized with second place at the 2007 FGCU research day conference for presentation of this research.

Annaliese has been practicing massage therapy for the past 15 years, having graduated from the School for Applied Kinesthetic Studies in Herndon, VA.  She received special training in sports massage and had clinical experience working with dancers at the Kiroff ballet school in Washington, D.C.  Annaliese spent ten years working at resort spas including the Ritz Carlton Spa in Naples, FL and the Grove Park Inn Spa in Asheville, NC.  Over the course of her career, she has completed specialized training in myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, shiatsu, tui na, pregnancy massage, and reflexology.
